Jennifer Wenderoth-Holster is a distinguished nonprofit executive, advocate, and community leader whose career is marked by transformation, resilience, and measurable impact. Armed with a Master of Public Administration with a concentration in Nonprofit Management, she has consistently revitalized organizations, eliminated dysfunction, and cultivated high-performing teams grounded in collaboration, innovation, and accountability.

Jennifer has held pivotal leadership roles, including serving as Executive Director, where she steered organizations through strategic growth, board development, financial stewardship, and program expansion. Under her leadership, nonprofits achieved long-term sustainability and broadened their community reach. She has built enduring donor relationships, strengthened statewide partnerships, and positioned organizations as trusted voices for families in crisis.

As the founder of Let It Be Heard, Jennifer has educated and inspired students, professionals, and communities on issues including domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, prevention strategies, and leadership development. Her career spans directing Sexual Assault Crisis Services, coordinating equity and compliance initiatives at colleges and universities, and serving as a dedicated crisis counselor, advocate, and trainer alongside law enforcement, court officials, and healthcare providers.

A respected policy leader, Jennifer has testified on multiple state bills, now enacted into law, that strengthen survivor protections and advance equity across Connecticut. She has trained professionals statewide, developed institutional protocols, and championed advocacy campaigns that created safer, more responsive systems.

Renowned for her optimism and determination, Jennifer is both a strategic problem solver and a culture builder. She excels at leading organizations and teams through times of challenge and change, fostering resilience, and turning vision into action.

Deeply rooted in her shoreline Connecticut community, Jennifer has dedicated decades to volunteerism with organizations ranging from the Girl Scouts to the Shoreline Soup Kitchens & Pantries, local foundations, and civic initiatives.

Jennifer’s leadership is defined by a unique blend of intellect, passion, and compassion. She uses her heart and strategy to empower individuals, strengthen families, and advance equity, delivering sustainable, mission-driven change that endures.
